7.30am, STIHL Plant 2, Waillingen. People are arriving at work. But it's been a long night for the tools in our testing chamber. All 36 chambers run 24/7, putting each tool we sell through 150,000 hours of the toughest challenges we can create.
No excuses
Whether it's a chain saw or a mistblower, no model escapes. We take each machine then simulate typical use in three real-life situations - partial, full and idle operation. That way, we know the tool is in perfect working order and we know it'll deliver full performance even at extremes - because anything less simply isn't good enough.
